If you loved L'immaginario, try Ni no Kuni
Un ponte tra un film che hai già visto e uno che quasi nessuno ha incrociato. Questo è ciò che condividono, e ciò che il secondo fa che il primo non fa.
Cosa condividono
Both films are directed by Yoshiyuki Momose, and they both carry the bittersweet, tender mood tags, and they sit in Adventure / Animation / Family / Fantasy territory. If that's the register that drew you to L'immaginario, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Ni no Kuni is
Here's a film that thinks parallel worlds are the solution, not the problem. Two high schoolers travel to a magical kingdom to save their friend's life, only to discover love makes things even more complicated. It's probably best enjoyed by people already invested in the lore.
