If you loved Underground, try Cyrano de Bergerac
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Theyboth carry the foreign gem mood tag, and they sit in Comedy / Drama territory. If that's the register that drew you to Underground, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Cyrano de Bergerac is
Here's a big-nose-guy-loves-beautiful-woman story that is not, in fact, Roxanne. Cyrano is in love with his cousin, but his outsized schnoz keeps him from declaring himself. Instead, he funnels his love through a handsome but tongue-tied cadet. At least it's got Gerard Depardieu.
