If you loved Steam: The Turkish Bath, try Facing Windows
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Ferzan Özpetek, and they sit in Drama territory. If that's the register that drew you to Steam: The Turkish Bath, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Facing Windows is
Here's a film about looking inward by glancing out. A woman in a stale marriage becomes obsessed with both an elderly amnesiac and the handsome stranger in the building opposite. Naturally, everything changes. It's a shame about the English title.
