In 1976 Mel Brooks put a gag in a blender and forgot to hit pulse. Three filmmakers pitch a silent movie to a drowning studio, swap hats for megaphones, and roam Hollywood asking stars to cameo. The creditors finally show up dressed as silent-era heavies.
