If you loved RoboCop 2, try Never Say Never Again
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Irvin Kershner, and they sit in Action / Thriller territory. If that's the register that drew you to RoboCop 2, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Never Say Never Again is
Bahamas. Endless summer. A single white yacht. Blofeld's SPECTRE rises again, this time threatening nuclear annihilation. Bond, aged but not retired, dodges assassins and woos a mysterious woman tied to the villain's inner circle. Kershner delivers competent thrills, if a bit outside the EON-produced canon.
