If you loved Noise, try Death to Smoochy
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Theyboth carry the pitch black, raw mood tags, and they sit in Comedy / Drama / Thriller territory. If that's the register that drew you to Noise, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Death to Smoochy is
Dark alleys. Midnight. A discarded script. Rainbow Randolph, canned from kids' TV for being a lush, plots a comeback. Only standing in his way: Smoochy, a sickeningly wholesome rhino mascot set to inherit Randolph's empire and maybe his girl. DeVito directs this misanthropic satire for those who like their comedy black.
