If you loved Mickey's House of Villains, try Pluto's Christmas Tree

A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.

What they share

Both films are directed by Jack Hannah, and they both carry the cozy, playful mood tags, and they sit in Animation / Comedy territory. If that's the register that drew you to Mickey's House of Villains, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Pluto's Christmas Tree is

Pluto’s assigned to help Mickey fetch a Christmas tree but gets sidetracked by Chip ’n Dale squirrels who mock him from inside the very tree they’ll occupy. The squirrels happily nibble decorations while Pluto whines below, oblivious to the holiday carolers dropping in to ruin their hideout. Somewhere between barking and carols, the tree gets decorated after all.
