If you loved King of the Hill, try Out of Sight
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Steven Soderbergh. If that's the register that drew you to King of the Hill, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Out of Sight is
The film turns its hand to the rom-com-meets-grifter shuffle hard enough that you keep waiting for the hat to come off. Foley slides out of prison and straight into a trunk, then straight into Sisco’s orbit. The premise gets bonus points for pretending it’s not just a pretext for mutual appreciation.
