If you loved Fingernails, try The Beast
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Theyboth carry the bittersweet, cerebral mood tags, and they sit in Drama / Romance / Science Fiction territory. If that's the register that drew you to Fingernails, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What The Beast is
Bertrand Bonello goes full sci-fi romance, apparently. In a near future Paris, a woman uses a machine to purge dangerous emotions by reliving past lives. But she meets a man and feels an instant, inexplicable connection. At least the ambiguous ending will give people something to argue about.
