What Knock is

Here's a movie unafraid of portraying doctors as grifters. A reformed gangster-turned-physician arrives in a sleepy village and convinces everyone they're sick to line his own pockets. But just as his scheme nears completion, his past comes back to haunt him. It does manage to be a comedy, somehow.
