If you loved Cencoroll Connect, try Cencoroll
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Atsuya Uki, and they both carry the mindfuck, surreal mood tags, and they sit in Animation / Science Fiction territory. If that's the register that drew you to Cencoroll Connect, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Cencoroll is
Cindarella meets Lovecraft in a schoolyard when a cosmic entity petitions for a showdown and only a girl and her lumpy pet care what happens next. Her classmate’s drifting blob of sentience becomes the unlikely referee between two boys who think they’re in charge. All three decide the monster gets to rewrite the rules.
