If you loved Boot Hill, try Ace High
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Giuseppe Colizzi, and they both carry the playful mood tag, and they sit in Comedy / Western territory. If that's the register that drew you to Boot Hill, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Ace High is
A trio of outlaws, having one too many grudges, turn a simple theft into a cross-country comedy of errors. Stevens and Bessy start as victims, end up partners, and spend most of the film being loudly surprised by each other’s choices. The horseplay never quite settles into a straight line, but at least the scenery stays photogenic.
