If you loved Blood Quantum, try Ravenous
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Theysit in Horror territory. If that's the register that drew you to Blood Quantum, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Ravenous is
Snow-laced pines at dusk. A gutted deer sags from a tree, ribs split open, viscera missing. Men and women move through frozen underbrush, pulling sleds laden with food, guns, a child’s mitten looped over a rifle barrel. Behind them, figures shamble from thawing barns, mouths stained dark. Feels like late Herzog with a Pet Sematary itch.
