If you loved Trespassers, try Ahiru to kamo no koinrokkâ
Un ponte tra un film che hai già visto e uno che quasi nessuno ha incrociato. Questo è ciò che condividono, e ciò che il secondo fa che il primo non fa.
Cosa condividono
Theyboth carry the bittersweet, outsider, slow burn mood tags, and they sit in Comedy / Drama / Mystery territory. If that's the register that drew you to Trespassers, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Ahiru to kamo no koinrokkâ is
Late-night locker clank, basement fluorescents buzzing. A scavenger hunts a missing coin locker key, stumbles through his neighbor’s messy archive of VHS tapes and lost umbrellas. The neighbor’s past surfaces in reels and receipts, tangled with a girl who once vanished like a duck call in rain. A puzzle box of grief, coincidence and shrine donations.
