You’re a gifted Jewish counterfeiter plucked from a Berlin studio in 1936 and parachuted into Sachsenhausen’s most sinister print shop. and then the Nazis demand you forge British pounds and American dollars to sabotage the Allies. A director’s lens lingers on currency fluttering past rows of hollow-eyed inmates, each sheet a tiny rebellion.
