If you loved L'Étalon noir, try L'Envolée Sauvage
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by Carroll Ballard, and they both carry the tender mood tag, and they sit in Adventure / Family territory. If that's the register that drew you to L'Étalon noir, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What L'Envolée Sauvage is
A somewhat cloying attempt to wring tears from ornithology. A teen grieves her mom, then bonds with orphaned goslings, and learns to fly (sort of). That such a flight actually happened is probably the most interesting thing about the film.
