If you loved Orphée, try La Belle et la Bête
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by Jean Cocteau, and they both carry the foreign gem, slow burn, surreal mood tags, and they sit in Drama / Fantasy / Romance territory. If that's the register that drew you to Orphée, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What La Belle et la Bête is
Cocteau throws a bit of everything at the screen, to see what sticks. A merchant's daughter attempts to save her father by taking his place in a bewitched castle. It flirts with being profound, but mostly just delivers a slightly stagey fairy tale.
