If you loved Mogambo, try La Taverne de l'Irlandais
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by John Ford, and they both carry the cozy, tender mood tags, and they sit in Adventure / Romance territory. If that's the register that drew you to Mogambo, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What La Taverne de l'Irlandais is
John Ford directs his energies toward the South Pacific. A Bostonian spinster travels to French Polynesia to find her long-lost, somewhat disreputable, father. It is exactly the sort of thing you expect, even if you don't expect John Ford to have made it.
