If you loved Main Street in the Underworld, try Le Lézard Noir
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by Umetsugu Inoue. If that's the register that drew you to Main Street in the Underworld, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Le Lézard Noir is
A glass case shatters at dawn on a Ginza rooftop. Black Lizard palms the stolen diamond while Akeichi’s shoes click closer on wet tiles. One drawbridge left. Akeichi steps off the frame; Black Lizard slips the jewel into a handbag and catches the next train south. Inoue drapes every gesture in silk stockings and sharkskin.
