If you loved Bonjour, try Fleurs d'équinoxe
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by Yasujirō Ozu, and they both carry the bittersweet, foreign gem, tender mood tags, and they sit in Comedy / Drama territory. If that's the register that drew you to Bonjour, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Fleurs d'équinoxe is
Ozu takes on the eternal story of a dad versus his daughter. A businessman's progressive notions get a workout when his headstrong child rejects an arranged marriage. Dad digs in, but everyone else conspires against him. It's a gentle film about stubbornness.
