If you loved Eros + Massacre, try Adieu clarté d'été
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by Yoshishige Yoshida, and they both carry the slow burn mood tag, and they sit in Drama / Romance territory. If that's the register that drew you to Eros + Massacre, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Adieu clarté d'été is
Yoshida gives it a go with Antonioni-style ennui. A Japanese professor and a troubled housewife embark on an affair while touring Europe. Their self-discovery is perhaps less interesting than the locations they discover.
