If you loved Derniers recours, try Kiss of Death
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by Barbet Schroeder, and they both carry the paranoid, raw mood tags, and they sit in Crime / Drama / Thriller territory. If that's the register that drew you to Derniers recours, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Kiss of Death is
Bronx, then. Steel-grey light, idling engine. A man wants out of the life, except the life won't let him: one last favor for a friend, a dangerous sociopath, and suddenly the man's doing hard time. Freedom comes with a catch; the law wants payback. Schroeder's late-period noir is a nasty piece of work.
