Both films are directed by Isao Yukisada, and they both carry the bittersweet, outsider, tender mood tags, and they sit in Drama territory. If that's the register that drew you to Parade, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What GO is
Here we have a film about identity, as if there aren't enough of those. A Korean-Japanese teen grapples with prejudice and alienation. At least it's probably useful for high school teachers.
