If you loved Nishi Ginza Station, try Stolen Desire
Un puente entre una película que ya has visto y una que casi nadie ha cruzado. Esto es lo que comparten, y lo que la segunda hace que la primera no hace.
Lo que comparten
Both films are directed by Shōhei Imamura, and they both carry the playful mood tag, and they sit in Comedy / Drama territory. If that's the register that drew you to Nishi Ginza Station, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Stolen Desire is
Imamura's early work is always worth a look, even when it's a bit all over the place. A traveling troupe of actors puts on both Kabuki theater and strip shows. It's not exactly subtle, but it did get made.
