If you loved Mechanical Violator Hakaider, try Zeiram
Un puente entre una película que ya has visto y una que casi nadie ha cruzado. Esto es lo que comparten, y lo que la segunda hace que la primera no hace.
Lo que comparten
Both films are directed by Keita Amemiya, and they both carry the neon soaked mood tag, and they sit in Action / Adventure / Science Fiction territory. If that's the register that drew you to Mechanical Violator Hakaider, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Zeiram is
Here's a film that knows exactly what it is, and that's something. Two hapless electronics technicians get pulled into a virtual reality by an intergalactic bounty hunter and her AI partner. Now the trio must survive against a biological weapon before the whole simulation collapses. It's not high art, but it delivers on its goofy premise.
