If you loved Kamen Rider Den-O: Ore Tanjou!, try Kamen Rider: The First
Un puente entre una película que ya has visto y una que casi nadie ha cruzado. Esto es lo que comparten, y lo que la segunda hace que la primera no hace.
Lo que comparten
Both films are directed by Takao Nagaishi, and they both carry the playful mood tag, and they sit in Action / Adventure / Science Fiction territory. If that's the register that drew you to Kamen Rider Den-O: Ore Tanjou!, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Kamen Rider: The First is
A Tokyo subway tunnel hums above ground. Underground, a white coat’s sleeves are pinned by black gloves. The coat belongs to Takeshi Hongo, swallowed whole by a shifting nightmare of chrome and shadow. One jerk of a gear and his spine clicks into place. His skull plates seal. The hum becomes a heartbeat. A 60s blow-up doll, suddenly alive in the wrong decade.
