If you loved Violence Jack: Evil Town, try Battle Royale High School
Un puente entre una película que ya has visto y una que casi nadie ha cruzado. Esto es lo que comparten, y lo que la segunda hace que la primera no hace.
Lo que comparten
Both films are directed by Ichiro Itano, and they sit in Animation / Fantasy / Horror territory. If that's the register that drew you to Violence Jack: Evil Town, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Battle Royale High School is
Rooftop dojo. Bell clang. Empty black gi traded for a contract, a teen becomes king of monsters. His old school: a portal for samurai vs. space cops vs. actual devils. Itano's OVA has great cuts, but some of the story beats feel very familiar now.
