If you loved Qiu Ju, une femme chinoise, try Coming Home
Un pont entre un film que tu as déjà vu et un que peu de gens ont croisé. Voici ce qu'ils partagent, et ce que le second fait que le premier ne fait pas.
Ce qu'ils partagent
Both films are directed by Zhang Yimou, and they both carry the bittersweet, foreign gem, tender mood tags, and they sit in Drama territory. If that's the register that drew you to Qiu Ju, une femme chinoise, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Coming Home is
Zhang Yimou apparently felt like doing a melodrama. When a political prisoner returns home from a labor camp, he discovers his wife has amnesia and doesn't recognize him. It's a moving story, provided you aren't allergic to sentiment.
