If you loved Rock-A-Doodle, try Thumbelina
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Don Bluth, and they both carry the cozy mood tag, and they sit in Animation / Family / Fantasy territory. If that's the register that drew you to Rock-A-Doodle, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Thumbelina is
Don Bluth gives it a go with the source material, and you have to admire the effort. A girl born from a flower is pursued by toads, beetles, and a field mouse, all while trying to reunite with the fairy prince she loves. It's probably someone's favorite movie.
