If you loved Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, try Pokémon 4Ever
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, and they both carry the cozy mood tag, and they sit in Adventure / Animation / Family / Fantasy / Science Fiction territory. If that's the register that drew you to Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
What Pokémon 4Ever is
Here's a movie about the sanctity of friendship, if you're into that sort of thing. A time-traveling Pokémon and its new human pal must team up with Ash and Pikachu to save the forest from an encroaching threat. At least the title doesn't lie; this probably will last 4Ever.
