If you loved Golgo 13: The Professional, try Lupin the Third: The Hemingway Papers
A bridge between a film you've already seen and one most people haven't. Here's what they share, and what the second one does that the first one doesn't.
What they share
Both films are directed by Osamu Dezaki, and they both carry the unhinged mood tag, and they sit in Action / Animation / Crime territory. If that's the register that drew you to Golgo 13: The Professional, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.
unhinged
What Lupin the Third: The Hemingway Papers is
Here's an animated adventure that is exactly as plausible as its title. Lupin seeks out papers written by Ernest Hemingway, which contain the location of some treasure. It's a shame the great man's name is attached, but at least the explosions are good.
