What they share
Theyboth carry the outsider, playful mood tags, and they sit in Comedy / Drama / Science Fiction territory. If that's the register that drew you to Generation P, the second film will land in a comparable space — through a different lens.

What Thermae Romae is
Here's a film about cultural exchange, of sorts. A Roman bath architect travels through time to modern Japan, cribbing their bathing tech. He returns to ancient Rome and becomes a celebrated innovator. It’s essentially a fish-out-of-water comedy, but with more loincloths.
