Cult 2840 films

Low scores, big love. Films that flopped on release and found their people later — sometimes decades later. The Thing (1982), Heaven's Gate, Showgirls, The Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko. Bad-but-loved or misunderstood-by-1982 in roughly equal measure.

We infer mood tags from TMDB keywords, runtime, year, genre, and language using rule-based heuristics. A film gets the cult tag when at least one of those rules fires with weight ≥ 0.5. The catalog refreshes the inference every time new films enter.
